Do instead of don't

Research has proven that people feel less unhappy when they have done something (that they later decide they regret doing) than when they did not do that thing (and later decide they should have done it)..

What I mean by sharing this with you is, take as many opportunities as you can; try things without being too cautious about whether that is the best to do; meet people, go to places - without wondering whether you will enjoy them.

Even if these things turn to be, well, not-so-awesome, you will still feel better than if you simply decided to stay on the safe side and skip taking a chance.

Science has proven it. But more importantly, I am giving you my word. Get wild. Feel happier!

Reading for the thesis

Nerdy monster

I never thought I would be upset and protesting that the library does not have a book that I need (just like about 100 other students attending a course with me).

I never thought that I would hide a book in another section of the library just because I'm afraid someone might take it before me tomorrow morning.

God..., school has turned me into a monster..

Coffee attraction

That's the window of a shop for secondhand books in Aarhus.
It seems that it knew I was gonna pass, because it had this coffee book staring at me from between the others.

Dream talent

It's one of these periods when I've got a ton of books to read for school. Time is never enough, but there is hope. I only need to find out how to acquire a talent like this one (starting min. 1:28) which should do the trick..

Trippy

An "ancient"disco ball with sadistic allusion, a deer's head, a painting of a (naked male) pink Little Pony, a woman reading a book, a high bartender in her 50s, slow (self) service, open doors at 5° C, random people walking in to have a beer while standing at the same place they found themselves when they entered, a menu written on the wall, people of all ages having a good time... What an awesome place!

Yes, yes.. you saw correctly, the post is from ~ 7 a.m.... ante meridiem.. before noon.. in the f***ing early morning.
It was one exciting sleepless night from my Erasmus life! And I am now going to bed.
..I wish these were words that would mean that I was dancing until I dropped tired.. but this time I was actually writing an assignment for school until I just ran out of words..
It's time for me to rest my empty head. I guess I might have trouble falling asleep, so I'll use some inspiration:

...or at least doing my best.. But there's always something beyond my control that interferes with my good intentions..
