Make me move

I'm sure the first thing you think about when you wake up on a Saturday is: "I wanna get super active right now!"

Speaking of which, here's some (pretty cool) inspiration for you. Not that you need it, of course.

Christmas never left

And, since we're on the Christmas theme, here are a few social ads that Unicef made to attract your attention..
By the way, Jesus is in them.
Oh, and Mother Theresa.
Ah, yeah, and Gandhi.
Well, you're in them too.. figuratively speaking..

3. (pay attention to Jesus pouring himself a glass of water)

The AD (After the Deadline) period has began!

At about 9 a.m. I crawled into bed. The excitement of ending my own hell and the smile that was framing my face did not let me fall asleep for some time.

At 12 I was already up, checking my messages for news from Sylvie. I found this picture:

.. and a few words telling me: "CONGRATULATIONS, Katya! You have successfully handed in your Master's thesis!"

From that moment on, the day was filled with lots of sun, the wide smile that I got before going to bed, and some kind of misty memory-less evening baggage packing.

Three more hours of fast sleep later, at 4a.m. I was on my way to a vacation in Greece and some

Yes, yes, good days are coming!

The Danes and that Sunny place

When I arrived to Denmark I was surprised by how many Danes had heard of Bulgaria. Most of them knew (at least) Sunny Beach and some had even been there.

As it turned out, this Bulgarian city by the sea is a popular destination amongst the Danish youth; a spot filled with endless parties, cheap alcohol and sun. As for the latter two, I can hereby confirm - you can't really find them in Denmark.

So, here is an IKEA ad which kinda presents how much the young Danes like that Bulgarian city*.

* It is an interesting fact that not so many Bulgarians go there.

Summer diet tip

Keeping your body in good shape in the summer can be quite hard.. especially when it's hot and there's an ice-cream stand nearby.
But I have something for you that can keep you from touching ice-cream.. for life.

In a hurry for a deadline

I am recently having plenty of deadlines to meet. And somehow, the last few days of every single period, I feel like I have to be that fast when completing my tasks:

If you're an egg-head

Voice-over in the ad:
"If you're an egg-head, putting your son in karate doesn't make a lot of sense.
Neither does paying too much for a hotel room.

Coffee disturbance

If your coffee does not give you the chills, does not wake you up.. nor make feel like you have to run for your life.. maybe David Lynch's Signature Cup Coffee will do the trick..

Sun in colors

The sun outside, the rainbow on the previous post, and my intensive urge for some sugar-stuffed sweets, combined like Voltron and led me to thinking of this ad.
It's simply a masterpiece of a (sick) genius!

New dry rum

No, that's not an ad.. nor a riddle, or some secret instructions to a storage filled with alcohol..
That's a note from the caretaker of our dorm. He is letting us know that in the other part of the building there is a new room where you can hang your clothes to dry.

Decoration

The common Christmas spirit is fading away. But before it's completely gone, I will share a piece of my Christmas decoration..

As it is obvious, this is how my bathroom got refreshed a couple of months ago..

* Her legs are covered with pieces of grass and there's a little bit of mud on her knees.. She must have been busy with gardening before the picture was taken..

And here's how she changed for the holidays.. It's not a lot, but it's still better than the no-snow, no-tree, no-decoration reality.

Christmas spirit selection, vol. 10

When I came upon this picture two years ago, I hadn't heard of Anheuser-Busch InBev and that it was the brewer of Leuven's pride: Stella Artois..

This evening I'm having a Stella in Leuven, thinking about all the things that I experienced in the last two years.. and I hope you can also look back and find at least one thing that you are grateful you had the chance to experience!

Merry Christmas! :)
