Ghosts on the streets

So, I needed to check an address but Google suddenly offered me a new option to see the map.

 

And, naturally, I clicked on it.

Certainly the best way to walk the streets of California!

Running with fins

That's one of those funny things on Google Maps.

Some time ago (before they blurred it)  you could see more of those two guys sitting by a street in Norway, dressed in scuba-diving equipment.. and then running after the Google Maps camera-car.

Even though the original view is now hidden, when you play around the map, you can still see some pictures of the original Google Maps street view.

London as I saw it: 7

Am I the only one who sees it this way, or there is some resemblance between a London underground in-carriage map..

..and the property cards* in Monopoly?

What would MacDaner do? s01e02

Here's the plot to another episode** of the action-adventure television series "MacDaner".

Anders MacDaner is an average* Dane, living  his average* Danish life in an average* Danish city.

A foreigner is obviously lost in an average Danish city, looking at a map. MacDaner sees him and heads straight to him with a smile and readiness to help. The foreigner says: "I want to get to Vestre Ringgade".

What would MacDaner do?

Say: "Where?!" with the most confused expression a human face can get. Look at what the tourist's finger is showing on the map, then smile and say the exact same way the foreigner (thought) he pronounced it: "Aaaah, you mean Vestre Ringgade".

Since I found this website I am considering going through the world map to see if they didn't catch me at some embarrassing moment.. Not that there are any I can think of..
