The dead Friday silence in my building reminded me that I never shared this fact in the blog: Belgian students go home (in another city) every weekend...

As soon as they cope with their Thursday-night hangover (known as Friday-night hangover in other countries), students from different parts of Belgium head to the train station with a fast pace and a bag of dirty clothes.

The melody, created by all the wheeled suitcases pulled on the paved streets, turns into a signal that the weekend has started.

Dear Belgians,.. for once,... be rebels and don't leave!

Don't worry

To those who got worried and wrote me - I am alive! I did not post anything in the last few days, because I took some needed time off. The Armistice day and my no-lecture-Monday made it possible. YAY!

So, after enjoying Brussels on spring-weather-Saturday and in the 5°C on Sunday, I can only say that it's always nice to explore your surroundings.
