The end is near

Some years ago, many years ago, in a summer, a friend from the block told me that the world will soon be over.

He said that Nostradamus had predicted it. The planets were going to get aligned..

This was supposed to cause earthquakes (amongst all other disasters), and, of course, the people to fall from Earth into the outer space.

At that time my parents explained to me how gravity works.. however, I still had my doubts they know everything about life, the universe, and everything.

As it seems, mom and dad were right and the world did not end.. despite all the chances it had by now.

However, the year's end is near. And that's pretty cool - great moments will be remembered; not so great ones - as well.. so as to add to life's learning.

So much has happened in the past year and I am grateful. And finally calm.

Search your mind

Googling has definitely improved..

After a number of hopeless attempts to remember a movie's name, I thought I should give Google a try.

So I did all I could with the information I had. I entered: "movie two men city in Europe kill boss". And there it was - the first result on the first page. "In Bruges".

Now I am a little scared. Did Google actually search my mind?

Memories in Boxes

This weekend I opened a box of memories and started digging into it.

It was actually a whole closet in my parents' place.

I must admit I've kept way too many things over the years - dating back to my big brother's childhood, all the way to my yesterday..

But the emotions and memories those things brought me, will feed my soul warmth for quite a portion of the winter season.

Four times nicer

A few weeks ago I had a night to remember.. and it's high time I let the world know about it.

So, the night started with a break dance competition..

..continued with a friend's concert..

.. and then led me to a dramatic theatre play.. at midnight.

After the play, I returned to the concert.. before heading to another bar, where those two moons were lying on the ground - one full and one half-eaten..

Heading home at 5 a.m. had never felt better.
