I was wondering.. why do Danes (and Belgians.. and, actually, pretty many nations) pronounce the word "idea" so weirdly.. The dictionary says: [ahy-dee-
uh]. The average Dane, and many others, as clarified above, says: [ahy-dee-
uR]... There's no "r" in the word, people..

we don't say uR, but 99.9% of brazilian people say ahy-dee-Ah. In portuguese is "ideia", thats why we'll always put a big A! ;)

Well, it's not like Bulgarians, or I, are talking with British accent. In general, we actually speak English in a funny way.
It's just that this question with pronouncing "idea" is very puzzling: so many people from all over the world put this un-existing "r" in the end.. How did this happen?!
